Synopsis:
A gritty portrayal of 30 hours in the lives of a young prostitute and her runaway friend, London to Brighton follows Kelly and Joanne as they flee from gangsters, taking the night train from London to Brighton.
Vertigo Films London to Brighton has picked up a raft of awards and nominations since its release in December 2006.
The film won the Jury prizes at Raindance and Dinard and has been nominated for three British Independent Film Awards. Director Paul Andrew Williams won the Skillset ‘New Director’ Award at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and the Evening Standard ‘New Director’ award at the Evening Standard Film Awards 2007.
