Hoop Dreams

Hoop Dreams, White Men Can’t Jump, Teenwolf…all classic films about basketball, but none were good enough to feature the combined talents of the Moli-Globetrotters.

As part of our support for the Charity Path to Success some of our athletes (term used in its loosest sense) will be competing in the Wheelchair Basketball Challenge at the Copperbox Arena in the Olympic Park on the 25th September.

The challenge is to taking pace to raise money in support of the #PathtoTokyo2020 campaign. The campaign supports and empowers female athletes as they seek to achieve their dream of competing in the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, and future sporting events, by providing financial support to cover the cost of coaching, training, travel, equipment and specialised sports wheelchairs.

The last athletic charity challenge that Molinare staff took part in was the Trekstock Conquer The Tower Challenge, climbing 35 floors of the Broadgate Tower in thigh-burning, lactic pain, but the team managed to raise £750 to help support young adults fighting cancer.
