Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in

We are very happy to be part of the second Film London Return to Work Scheme for the Post and VFX sector in High End Television. Aimed at supporting highly skilled parents/carers who are returning to industry after taking career breaks, the scheme offers re-training and 'returnships' within leading post-production companies.

“At this time, when the volume of productions is rising, it is vital we maintain and develop the talent pool,” said Julie Parmenter, Molinare CEO, “some of the most knowledgeable and experienced people in the industry take a break for personal reasons and it would be madness not to do everything to help them back, when they are ready to return. We believe this scheme is a fantastic way to give support to new parents or carers so they get the retraining they need in order to make a successful return to work, and we look forward to working with them at Molinare.”

Film London are looking for 8 parents/carers who have had a career break due to childcare responsibilities but who are now ready to return to work.  They are particularly looking for people who have had experience in the following roles: Production coordinators, production managers, post supervisors, post coordinators, VFX Supervisors, Compositors, Concept artists, VFX producers, Roto artists, Matte artists, Digital prep (Paint/prep artists), Finance and Sales.

This is a nationwide scheme so applications are welcome from across the UK.
