Molinare have been nominated for an array of MPSE awards across our audio teams. The BAFTA nominated Three Identical Strangers, BBC hit-drama Bodyguard and Emmy-nominated Patrick Melrose have all been nominated, with the crew at Hackenbacker nominated for their work on four-part BBC drama Collateral.

Three Identical Strangers - post produced exclusively at Molinare - has been recognised in the ‘Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing - Feature Documentary’ category, with our Re-Recording Mixer Nas Parkash, Sound Designer Kim Tae Hak and Junior Dubbing Mixer Chad Orororo perfecting the feature doc.

Nas Parkash commented: "We as a team are totally thrilled that our efforts have been recognised in this way, and we wish to thank Tim and everyone at Raw for bringing us along on the journey of this terrific film".

Sound Designer Tony Gibson and Sound Effects Editor Lewis Todd have been nominated in the ‘Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing - Episodic Long Form - Effects / Foley’ category for his work on the “Bad News” episode of Patrick Melrose. Tony Gibson commented: “We are delighted and honoured that the Patrick Melrose Sound FX and Foley team has been nominated for an MPSE award.  Our director Edward Berger and editor Tim Murrell gave us an extraordinary series that allowed for a great deal of creative freedom”.

Senior Re-Recording Mixer Dan Johnson and ADR Mixer James Gregory have been nominated in the ‘Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing – Episodic Long Form – Dialogue / ADR’ category for their work on Bodyguard.

Hackenbacker’s Re-Recording Mixer Oliver Brierley, Dialogue Editor Alex Sawyer, Senior Sound Effects Editor Darren Banks, and Foley Editors Simon Trundle and Paul Hanks have all been nominated for their work on four-part thriller Collateral in the ‘Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing – Single Presentation’ category.

These nominations continue a fantastic period of recognition of the amazing talents on our audio teams at both Molinare and Hackenbacker, after our ‘Best Sound’ wins for both Drama and Non-Drama at the RTS Awards at the end of last year, which was the second time in three years that Molinare have picked the award for both categories.
